2026 Athlete Bursary
Applications Now Open for the 2026 Athlete Bursary:
The Collingwood Cycling Club (CCC) is excited to announce that applications for the 2026 Athlete Bursary are now open! This bursary supports emerging and committed cyclists in our community who are striving toward competitive excellence while giving back to the sport we all love.
About the Bursary
The CCC Athlete Bursary provides financial support—up to $1,000 per athlete—to help offset costs related to:
Racing and competition travel.
Training camps.
Equipment needs.
Skill development opportunities.
Awards will be granted based on athletic progression, community involvement, demonstrated financial need, and clarity of the athlete’s development plan.
Who Can Apply?
Athletes who meet the following criteria are invited to apply:
Resident of Southern Georgian Bay.
Active cyclist with a current UCI licence.
Competed in the past 12 months in road, MTB, gravel, CX & BMX.
Actively training and pursuing development opportunities.
Demonstrated financial need.
Positive involvement in the cycling community.
Ages 13 to 22 will be prioritized, though older athletes may still be considered.
Application Deadline: 31 March 2026
We encourage all eligible athletes to apply before the deadline.
